Vintage Thrifting - Vintage Thermos in a Fall Vignette - PLUS a Diy

Hi Friends, 

 I'm so glad your here! 

 When I started collecting Vintage Thermos, they were a budget friendly item to collect...... Now, their hard to find at a budget friendly price.

 I'm excited to share a vintage 'Aladdin Thermos' with Fall Plaid for $1.50, I found out thrifting this week on half price day.

I 'll be using the thermos in my Fall decorating this Fall.

With the days getting shorter and night getting a little cooler. It time to be thinking about Fall Decorating. I thought I would share a simple Diy.........

I've been wanting to find some inexpensive Fall bowl fillers and coming up empty handed, so this weekend I've decided to make my own...

All of these tiny pumpkins were bought at my local DT, I just touched them up with a touch of orange paint and "Wa-La" instant bowl filler.

Late Summer/Early Fall Decor Ideas-Primitive Inspired Sunflowers DIY

Hi Friends,

 I'm so glad your here! Today,

 I'm so excited to share a few Sunflower that grew in my garden this season. I did let them dry,

 added then into my Late Summer Early Fall Decorating.

I did let them dry, then added a touch of yellow paint.

The seed, I kept intact so to use them later to feed bird this winter

OR  put the seed in a brine to cure, the grandkids like to help with this process and snacking on salty sunflower seed.

Late Summer/ Early Fall DIY Gourds

Hi Friends, 

 I'm so glad your here! 

This last week I stopped into my local Dollar Tree store to look for Fall Florals, and found a few larger 6" gourds

Today, I'm sharing an idea using Dollar Tree faux gourds in your 'Late Summer-Early Fall' decorating.

I wanted a more tan color for theses gourds, so I mix sunflower yellow and moss green  acrylic paint I had in my stash to get a gourd color that I wanted.

Late Summer - a Touch of Seasonal Vintage Whimsy

Today, I'm so excited to share a few Late Summer vintage touches to the 'China Hutch'.

I love using Sunflowers for a 

Late Summer vignettes

Pulled out a couple of my FireKing coffee mugs, to add a little vintage touch to my Coca-Cola collections.

The Gumball machine has wooden shape blocks from my school days, just the right color for Late Summer transistion.

For a little Whimsy, I added a couple of Black Crows, I've had in my Halloween Tub for many years.
