Vintage Metal Chairs, Old Kerosene Lanterns, Summer is Officially Here !

It's summer time!
Garden and summer decor

Time to break out the back yard accessories.  Old 50's metal chairs I've been hauling around for many many years

Chair cushions and pillows from Wal-Mart, the green place mat from Dollar Tree.  The basket housing the lilacs and the red napkin were thrift a few year ago.  A nice cool drink

Solar lights hung up that were a purchased last fall from a catalog.  The arch harbor has seen better days, I believe my mother past it down to me.
The harness and kerosene lanterns I collected from auction many years ago.

These pretty multi teardrop light I ordered from Walmart.

yard stakes that I have collected over the years from Dollar Tree.

...... bring it on summer!
Thank you for stopping by and may God be a blessing to you.

Until the next time.

A Rustic Farmhouse Home Sign Project

A Rustic Farmhouse  Home Sign Project using a few items I picked up at Dollar Tree first of the year.

A HOME plaque that I took the letters apart and painted them with two coats of Waverly white chalk paint.

I then made a little wreath out of a spring of eucalyptus I had in my stash

and glued the wreath to the letter "O"

Then using a LOVE sign also purchased at Dollar Tree

I repainted the sign with Waverly white chalk paint and added some watered down brown acrylic paint  to give the board an weathered look.

Glued the letter on to the repainted sign

What do you think?  This project was semi easy for me and I think it turned out GREAT!

Thank you for checking in for another diy project.
My God Bless your Day!

Until the next Project,
 Vicki

Country Farmhouse Budget Friendly Wreath - DIY

Country Farmhouse Budget Friendly Wreath

Rustic Farmhouse Wreath

Using a sign from Dollar Tree I painted it with Waverly white chalk paint

found this print from hen silhouette cut it out and glue the silhouette to the sign.

I added some doodle around the edge with a black sharpie.

attach the sign to the wreath form from Dollar Tree.

I made up three messy bows with black and white fabric and some rick-rack from my local fabric store, foliage pick, burlap ribbon, jute twine from Dollar Tree, topped the bow with natural raffia strands, also from Dollar Tree.

I started to lay out the bows and foliage to get the right placement

I like how this wreath turned out.

Thank you for stopping by, so until next time.

God bless you, Vicki
