Farmhouse Touch to the Front Porch for Spring

Hi Friends, s
o glad you stopped by.

Today I'm adding a little spring to my front porch area. The temperature is still to cold at night to be putting out plants.

I ran across this bottle caddy in my basement, that I found thrifting many years ago. From my local Dollar Tree store I purchase floral foam a few clusters of daffodils and raffia.

Very simple DIY.  I just layered the floral foam in the bottom of the caddy then added the raffia.

arranged the daffodils and a little reindeer moss to try and cover the floral foam a bit.

In one of my vintage milk cans I planted a few daffodils, in the milk crate I added the daffodil caddy, but it wasn't working for me I didn't like the white color of the caddy so I just arranged the daffodils in the milk crate.

I like this arrangement better for now.

Thank you so much for stopping by and You all have a great Day!

Rustic Diy Nest - Project for Spring or Summer

Hi Friends,

I'm so glad you stopped by. Today, I up to a new rustic diy .... Nest Building! I was surfing You-Tube and ran across several post of how-to.

I gather sticks, some coconut bark from one of my hanging baskets, a little grass and leaves from the yard and all-purpose glue.

Using aluminum foil for a form started layering the materials and let dry.

I really like how the nest turned out, I'll be adding the nest in my Spring and Summer décor. So please check back.

Until my next post, May God Bless You and Your Family.

Farmhouse Easter Sunday

Happy Easter

This year I changed up the wreath on my front door

A new Easter Wreath made with Dollar Tree materials.

Decorating my mantel for Easter and the month of April with items that I thrifted.

I have included the vintage bunnies that I thrifted in March, the diy nests, vintage brass candle sticks I have had in my stash for many years, a vintage rooster I picked up at a yard sale a few years ago, the little yellow chick I thrifted in my March Haul and a few diy eggs, two white hens watching over their eggs, yellow flowers were added this year from the Dollar Tree store.
The Welcome Spring/ green checked flag banner I diy last month looks really nice I think on the mantel.

Have a wonderful Sunday!
