What can I do in the Garden in June ? Enjoy the Blooming Perennials in the Garden.

 Hi Friends,

I'm out in the yard today, (My happy place) enjoying the beautiful poppies in full bloom.

Weeding is never done - think I have mentioned before that our spring has been below 40* at night for the month of April and May and seems to rains for several days each week.

This past week the evenings are warming up with thunder showers in the afternoon. So, I've tried to get out for about an hour in the morning and weed.

Iris are blooming also, aren't they beautiful? I need to weed this bed also, maybe I'll get to it in a couple of days.

Another part of my back yard, I have the red dianthus and violet salvia in bloom. The Iris in this area didn't bloom this year not quite sure, I may have split this bundle last fall.

The sweet peas seem to be happy in the straw I started last year with growing a few cucumber and pumpkin plants last year in the straw bales and they did fine. I've added wire fencing to the pallet for the sweet peas to climb on.

Pumpkin plants are doing well, also I need to be thinking how to get a trellis ready.

I just thought I'd give you a peek of what I have been up to the back yard.  When the weather is nice I love to putter around my yard.

Thank you for stopping by,  So until next time....

May God Bless You and Your Family,
