Rustic Fabric Shamrock March Project - For a Farmhouse Touch

Hi Friends,

This weekend I decided to invest some time to make a few shamrock ornies. In the past, I have made green felt shamrock ornies...

Today I'm using old white muslin fabric, that I have coffee stained, black checked gingham, and green cotton print fabric from my stash to make fabric shamrocks.

Tracing my pattern and cutting out the shapes and gathered all the shades of green embroidery thread I had and decide which shade I liked best

Using this stencil I picked up at Walmart

and using Ceramcoat's English Yew Green acrylic paint stenciled the farm stripe on side of the shamrock shape

I used cotton balls to stuff the fabric shamrock ornies and stitched around the edge with embroidery thread

What do you think? I like how they turn out, and will be a interesting addition to my décor.

Until the next time, My God Bless You and Your Family.
