Country Farmhouse Vintage Styled Mantel for February

Country Farmhouse Vintage Mantel

Hi friends,

This year I brought out some of my projects from the past and some vintage pieces I have collected over the years.  As you can see I am still liking how the black and white fabric adds a little bit of farmhouse feel.  A thrifted milk glass, a couple of diy sign projects, fabric hearts, red bird, paper heart touches and dried roses.

In this area of my mantel I added a few vintage bottles a couple of diy heart projects from a couple of years ago, heart shape tea cake mold and a tea stained red strip fabric garland to compliment the black and white check homespun.  the little girl is a vintage valentine print. I just love using vintage prints through out my home décor.

Here on the mantel I added a farmhouse salt shaker hen I picked up at a yard sale, a vintage Hazel Atlas quart jar and some homespun tried around the zinc lid. I put some of my dried roses my sweet husband gives me on my birthday into a mercury looking jar, I picked up at Dollar Tree. A vintage vintage print and two diy heart project.

I have another vintage rooster That I have collected a candle stick I thrifted last year added a jar on top with pip berries an d tied some homespun around the neck of the jar.  A few kids alphabet blocks is added for whimsical touch.

I brought out of my stash a vintage tea pot and put more of the dried roses and added some more homespun the white hen I picked up in January at a thrift store it wasn't marked, but I believe it adds a nice touch to my Valentine mantel. Standing in front of a diy moss cover twig heart I thrifted and upcycled.

The heart box I thrifted last February and upcycled with a vintage look. The "Follow Your Heart" sign is also a diy I made to look farmhouse.  The silver plate candle stick is another thrift find.

I hope you enjoyed how I styled my mantel this year. My husband gets me roses for my February birthday along with Valentines Day, of course I dry them, so I have quite a few bundles of roses to add to my décor this year.

Thank you for stopping by My Little Colorado Cottage to see how I'm styling my mantel for February.

God Bless You,
