Thanksgiving Week - Come Decorate With Me 2021 Part 1- The Mantel

 Hi Friends,

Today, I'm trying to get out some of my vintage Thanksgiving decorations for the up coming weekend.

I have a few vintage to me, pieces, that I have been using in my Thanksgiving décor for twenty years.

So I have gathered my favorite thrifted go to treasures for Thanksgiving

***

I have had the cornucopia's for years, that I picked up at a goodwill, along with the harvest food.

This year I have been using book for risers and I'm loving the Spanish moss this year also as I'm sure you haven't noticed I have it every where.

The amber bottles are new this year along with star pattern wreath.

Now for some of my new finds this year.  The last couple of months I've been really focused on searching for vintage turkeys, and copper, this is what I have gathered this year so far.

So what do you think of my added semi vintage turkey figurines?  It's a start I'll continue to keep a eye out in the coming year

Thank you for checking in to see what's been going on at my house this season.

May God Bless You and Your Family!

Come See What I Found Thrifting this week - Retro Nut Chopper

 Hi Friends,

I've been thrifting again, it's just a few things this time. Some Of the pieces I have been looking at are still a bit high and out of my price range.

I did find a few crochet hot pads, for $.75 each that I'll use for Christmas time.

Look at this cool retro nut chopper with a red lid, I paid $7.50 which I thought was a little high, but I get so excited to find pieces with red touches, I can't help myself.  This will definitely be going shelf in the kitchen.

Not sure what I'll be doing with the cute rooster hook but I'll be sure to show you when I figure it out.

I also found another piece of copper this little bowl has feet.
With Thanksgiving around the corner I just had to pick up the wooden turkey cut out and the little wreath with a folded star pattern.
I think the string of Christmas bell was my best find today, I'll be certainly saving this for Christmas décor.

I did pick up another metal box I think this one is a fishing tackle box. I will be stacking this box with the silver metal box I thrifted this summer.

Thank you for stopping by to look at my thrifted finds.

May God Bless You and Your Family,

Decorate with me - Fall Farmhouse/ Vintage Mantel - Using Thrifted Items

 Hi Friends,

Today, I'm easing my mantel into fall.  Using some farmhouse/vintage décor that I have thrifted, the last few months.

I love my black and white gingham garland that stays on the mantel year round. To ease into  fall on my mantel I placed a thrifted copper tin, some books, amber bottle, a crow I've have for many years

A thrifted crock I left the sunflowers found this summer and added pip berries a diy ceramic pumpkins

amber bottles with sunflowers, I left the moss, added a faux pumpkin to the vintage cigar tin

To the left side of the mantel I added a little orange ceramic pumpkin that I gave a face lift to and a copper accent pumpkin I picked up a couple of years ago a thrifted crock with sunflowers and a black crow.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  So until the next time....

May God Bless You and Your Family.
