Country Farmhouse Budget Friendly Wreath - DIY

Country Farmhouse Budget Friendly Wreath

Rustic Farmhouse Wreath

Using a sign from Dollar Tree I painted it with Waverly white chalk paint

found this print from hen silhouette cut it out and glue the silhouette to the sign.

I added some doodle around the edge with a black sharpie.

attach the sign to the wreath form from Dollar Tree.

I made up three messy bows with black and white fabric and some rick-rack from my local fabric store, foliage pick, burlap ribbon, jute twine from Dollar Tree, topped the bow with natural raffia strands, also from Dollar Tree.

I started to lay out the bows and foliage to get the right placement

I like how this wreath turned out.

Thank you for stopping by, so until next time.

God bless you, Vicki

$1.50 Thrift Store Find for February - Vintage Pat and Pam Creative Charms kit

Hello Friends,
Today I'm sharing another project from a item I found at my local thrift store.

Remember my thrift haul back in February I picked up a vintage three piece Pat and Pam Creative Charm kit for a $1.50. At the time I wasn't sure how to incorporate the charms into my February decor. Then realized I could add fabric and add the charm to a string of bead.

I had a tough time getting the fabric over the little teeth

I finally got all three charms covered and the back snapped on.

Wrapping the jute twine around my fingers to forming a circle

Using another piece of twine to wrap around the end to make a hook, and cut the other end to make a fray.

Using red bead I thrift in February haul, I cut the twine the length I thought would need feed it threw the charm clasp and added the red beads about twenty and added tassel

I embellish the top of the charm with a small fabric heart and a button

This project turned out pretty nice.Thank you for stopping by to see what I have been up to.  So until the next project......

May God Bless you, Vicki

DYI Bunny chalk board

I've been digging out some of my Easter decor and deciding I need more bunnies, so...

Here is a bunny shape template I found on line. The template was small so I enlarged the bunny shape freehand to get it the size I was looking for.

I traced the bunny shape onto a piece of white form board, I had left over from another project, and cut this bunny shape, painted it with black chalk paint, and trimmed out the bunny with white chalk paint.

added a yellow ribbon bow with a button in the center.

I placed this bunny on my mantel.  I think it was a nice addition to my Easter decor.

Thank you for stopping by, Vicki
