Late Summer Decorating With Vintage Treasures

Hi Friends,
 I'm so glad your here!
Happy LateSummer!
***
Today, I'm packing away the Summer Patrioctic decor and adding Late Summer/Early Fall touches to the top of the shelving unit in my entryroom.

I like to bring in Sunflowers of all shade for this time of year.
I 've added a lot of my vintage chickens to this area, love showing them off.

Here is a closer view of some of my vintage thrifted finds

***

Late Summer in my cottage, gives me time to break out the apples, darker yellows, greens and shades of orange in my decorating.
still love the touches of blue for 'Late-Summer',
***
and a bit of shades of  browns.
I hope you found some ideas how to use unexpected vintage finds along with multiple shades of Late-Summer colors in your decorating.
***
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by 'My Little Colorado Cottage"

I would love to hear what colors you use in your
"Late Summer" decorating.

 So until my next post......

Hi Friends,

 I'm so glad your here!

Today, I'm so excited to share  a few new finds and a little rearranging my Summer decor.
***
What a surprise when I found the two copper molds, WOW!
the fruit basket was marked $3.00 each, I paid $1.50
I have a wall in my kitchen where I made a small collection of my thrifted copper molds

I think the two new molds look great on this wall.

This copper-plate planter for $3.00/ $1.50, is going to look great with my Fall Decor or possibly outside on front porch.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by to see what treasures I have found out thrifting this week.

I Found Some Awesome Vintage Treasures! - Weekend Yard Sale

Hi Friends,

I'm so glad your here! I went to a yardsale this weekend and just wanted to share what I found.
***
I actually found many items to expand a few of my vintage collections, but today I want to share a great find!

'White Ceramic Hen Napkin Holder with egg shaped Salt and Pepper Shakers' ($3.00)

I'm not sure if this one is newer there is no markings and the shakers have plastic stoppers

You all know I pick-up 1940-1950's Hens/Roosters when I find them at a reasonable price.
***
I do have a vintage 1960's Hen Napkin Holder without the Egg Shakers.
It has a mark on the bottom...

It's a slight larger...
Similar feather details...
What do you think?
I have styled the Hens in the Kitchen above my cabinets.

***
I also found these plate holders in a box of miscellanous items. The gentleman threw the large plate holders in for free!, I'll be putting them in my stash for later use. This measured for a plate close to 12"

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by to see what treasures I have found out thrifting this week.
