Vintage Scotch Tins PLUS a Couple Other Interesting Treasures

Hi Friends,

 I'm so glad your here!

Today, I'm so excited to share a few more treasures that I won at the on-line auction.

Check out these wonderful 'Scotch Tape' tins, that I paid $8.03 each.

I can not wait to use these awesome 'Scotch Tape', tins in my Christmas vignettes along with these wonderful thermoses and the picnic bag I thrifted last month.

***
I placed the 'Cloverine' salve' tin on a bathroom-shelf, that I paid $6.03 (shipping included in price)

***
The next couple of treasures I just couldn't refuse to bid on! I just don't see treasures like this in my neighborhood.

Look at this wonderful 'Hostess Fruit Cake' tin box.
I did a little research is was possibly from the 1940 - 1950's I won the bid of $16.03.

The tin is quite rusty, I just use a Clorox wipe to wipe off the rust, but I was worried I'd rub off the graphic. Still a very cool tin.

I placed the Hostess tin above the kitchen cupboards
stacked on another vintage tin.
***
Check out the graphics on the straw box, I won the bid on for $7.03, I love the smiley clown, so wonderful.

I squeezed the straw box closed to my cookie-cutter jar on the shelf above my kitchen cupboards.

***
This super great box of 'Collins on the Rocks Cocktail Pics'.

I have place the picks with my pair of  Old Fashion Cocktail Lowball glasses in the China Hutch.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by to see what treasures I have found out thrifting this week, I do hope you enjoy my content.

I would love to hear what you have found thrifting and how you style it in your home.

 So until my next post......

July Patriotic Touches - In the Kitchen

Hi Friends,

So glad you stopped by, today I adding a few Patriotic touches above my kitchen cabinets.

This vintage brown rooster I bought at auction at least 25 years ago. I haven't seen another one like it and no marking that I can see. I add pip berries all through out my house.
The blue glass bottles are added to the collection when ever I come across them.

Same with the tins, I'm always on the look out for vintage tins.

This vignette I add a large glass jar with my collections of cookie cutters

In this vignette I added a couple of items I collect. The tin box is a Madel coffee tin
I added a sprig of ivy in white enamel pan with red trim, I have also had for a long time
The pfefee pepper shaker is the largest shaker in a small collection of these little people shakers
-blue candle in prim candle holder that I have had for a few years
-As you can tell I used a couple of aged books to give a little height to this vignette.

Thank you for stopping by to see some of the patriotic vignette I added to my kitchen.

God Bless you and your Family,
