Rustic Country Farmhouse Blue Jeans - Garland DIY

A Project you can do with Wore Out Blue Jeans?

Hi Friends,

Today I thought I would show you how I made this super easy project, using wore out blue jeans. It's really just a rag garland, I'm using blue jeans.

With 3 young grandson around, the pile of wore out jeans gets big!  So with all these wore out jeans, I decided to make a few quick garlands.

I cut off the legs of the jeans and cut off the outside seam and the bottom leg hem to try and make the pieces all the same size.

Then I cut 1/2" strip about 5" long for the rag garland

and measured the length of where I wanted to hang the garland on the hutch.
I used white yarn, I had on hand to the length I needed.

Then sat down with the piece of yarn and the strips of wore out jeans and started tying the strips onto the yarn with a half not.  Pretty easy it took me 30 to 45 minutes per garland,(I made one for the mantel also).

I then decided to cut a few triangles to make a couple of short banners for the vintage window I have placed around my home.

I just many, have know idea how many triangles for the blue jean pile and glued the on to a measured piece of twine, to fit onto the window frame at the entry door.

I want to thank you for stopping by

May God Bless You and Your Family,
I'm Vicki a Colorado Junkett
