I'm so glad your here! Today,
I'm so excited to share a few Vintage-Inspired 'Patriotic Collage Cards'.
***
I printed out free Vintage-Inspired clip art, bit and pieces of patriotic embellishments, I've gathered over the years.
Using three different background cards - a Flag, thrifted Bingo card, and a free print from 'The Graphic Fairy.
***
This is how a few are looking. I happy with the way they have turned out.***
Here are a few vignettes in the Den, where I added the vintage-inspired 'Patriotic Collage Cards'.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by to see what I have been up to, I'm slowly changing up the Mantel with my 'Patriotic Summer Décor'.
***
So please check back next week to see how it is all coming together.
***
I would love to hear what you have in mind for your 'Summer Décor', do you craft holiday décor? How do you style it in your home?
***
So until my next post......
May God Bless You and Your Family.

Your cards are lovely.I swear the older I get, the less I decoratewhich is not like me! I love the vintage look. My grandfather was in WWI and my dad in WW2, ex husband and current SO were Vietnam era vets. I worked at a VA for 25 years so I learned to appreciate all the veterans' sacrifices. I hit Joann's today and bought a 100 pack of cardstock in pastels for card making; I have been cutting out pictures of flowers from the Breck's catalogs and mailings and will take a day sometime to work on cards!
ReplyDeleteYou must have a lot of stories, from your family. My Dad was in the Korean war stationed in Germany as a medic and my late husband was in the army late part of Vietnam stationed in Germany. My current Husband grew up on a military base in Virginia.
ReplyDeleteI love your great idea using the seed catalog flowers as ephemera, I got so much scrapbooking paper scrapes I really need to start crafting more. Have a wonderful week. Thank you so much for your comment.
