I'm so glad your here!
Today, I'm so excited to share how I upcycled a souvenir spoon display piece.
June of the year I found four of these display piece, I brought two home wanting to do a project with vintage hankies.
I'm sure you have seen many crafter put their spin on these rack and HERES mine!
then, applied a second coat
and let dry completely.
Next,
I applied a layer of school glue and let it set for about 5-10 minutes and then applied a thick layer of Waverly White Chalk Paint and let it fully dry.
took a piece of 220 sandpaper, lightly sanded the edges.

I have the rack hanging in my guest room, I think it turned out super sweet!
What do you think?
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by to see what I have been crafting.
I would love to hear what you have found thrifting this week.
So until my next post......
May God Bless You and Your Family,

What a cute idea. I painted a spoon rack to use as a drying rack for small bunches of herbs as they dry faster in small bundles. I don't have a dehydrator like my daughter!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy, great idea! I did pick up another spoon display and with fall coming soon I'll have some flowers to hang to collect seeds. Always nice to hear from you. I'm sure your very busy getting ready for craft show season. Have a great week.
