A Disney book "Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby" copyright 1971 price,.25.

1983 "Moses in the Bulrushes"

I also found a 1991 animal card and a 1915 Wildlife Identification Pocket Guide, I thought the grandkids would enjoy lookin through them when they visit.
All the books plus the animal cards for $2.00
***
Second sale,
I also found two plant hangers for a $1.00 each, I have a few plants that I need to hang up.

I found two very nice pottery flower pot for $2.00 each, I'll be using on the patio.

I look for kids cloths for the grandkids. I paid a $1.00 for 4 little shirts for the youngest grandson.
***
Third sale,
I believe it was last month I found a spice rack at a yard sale for a $1.00 and so I've been on the look-out for spice bottles and I found some for $1.50 for all four.

I believe, the spice bottles match the ones I found last summer, I'm using for beads and sequins in the sewing nook.

This cute embroidered table scarf is great for summer on my vanity in the guestroom.

How I have incorporated Last Friday Thrift Treasures

Hi Friends,

 I'm so glad your here!

Today, I'm so excited to share, how I have incorporated these recently thrifted treasures into my home décor.  I hope to inspire you to go out and find vintage treasures for your collections and home décor.

The amazing Gelot Paris marked hat box..........

I thought would look very nice with my pair of vintage suitcase, I thought the map back-drop is a nice touch don't you think?

the super cool calendars I have pinned up in the guest rooms

I really like this 1955 vintage calendar I hung one of the guest room.

The 1911 calendar is hanging in the other guest room that my grandsons stay in.

Atlas Canning jar........

I have another Atlas canning jar that I think I'll group them together in the wire bottle crate

here on top of my entry-room shelving unit.

The amazing wooden thread spools went into the large jar in my sewing nook..........

These smiley garden sun plaques are resting on the side of my garden shed.
I did give the gray sun medallion a lighter shade of yellow, it looks happier, don't you think?

Then,

I first notice this very cool oval hat box it was not priced, I walked around looking at other items, not sure what price I wanted to offer, so I just ask what was the price for the hat box? The lady said $2.00 and there are some old calendar in the box.  WHAT? I could believe it! Not sure if its vintage or not but, so cool!

It is stamped Gelot - Paris -  12 Place Vendo'me
and inside the lid is a photo of 12 Place Vendo'me in Paris

the Cunard Line Stateroom Baggage sticker is what caught my eye

Plus in side the box were two vintage calendars and a a Conoco expense book
A 1936-1937 Conoco expense record booklet

another calendar - 1911
