Vintage-Inspired-Winter Decor in the Shelving Unit

Hi Friends,

I've been moving some of my staple vintage decor pieces from room to room trying to find a permament spot on my Shelving Unit, if that's possible.

***
My focus is to switch up some of my vintage collections and working the pieces into new vignettes using brown, white, pewter, and green.
***
I moved one of my vintage tackle boxes into this cubby, added a knew found wooden shoe mold, used one of my milkglass compote, a couple of crock pieces and touches of winter.
***
Another cubby I incorporated a few milkglass vases with my collection of Hall prottery pieces, and added a crock bowl.
***
I have incorporated a couple of milkglass and pottery pieces this vignette. While I was shopping around the house, I found two wood picture frame that I added winter prints.
***
In this vignette I have added two cigar boxes that I normally have styled in the Den. I have used a couple more milk-glass pieces and a new chalkboard I thrifted this month.
***
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by the blog.
I hope I gave you a little bit of inspiration with my plan to change some of my vignettes.
***
 So until my next post......

Thrifting for Vintage Home Decor

So Glad you stopped by!

Hi Friends,

Today, I'm excited to share a few items I found out thrifting at the local "Community Budget Center' on Tuesday, Senior Half Off day this week.

I found these silver-plate sugar cup and silver-plate caddy were $3.00 each, I paid $1.50

***
A few more great items I found at 1/2 off
All children books are 10 cent each, I'm sending this write and wipe book plus 'Dollar Tree' markers to my youngest grandson, he'll be turning three soon.
***
This wonderful blue and white crochet doily I'll been using in a Summer vignette.
***
I this chalk board I don't think is vintage, looking at the back.
on the back is a white board.
***
I've been watching these Rusty Doorknobs in the showcase window for sometime.......

The door-knobs were priced from $5.00- $10.00 each.
I was super surprised when I offered a $5.00 for all, the clerk came back with a $1.00 a piece.
---
I guess the 'Rusty Crusty Door Knobs' had been in the show window a while, I took the $1.00 a piece deal,
it took some time to get the masking tape tags of these 'Porcelain Doorknobs'
I was told the 'Rusty Crusty Door-Knobs' had been in the window display for over a year! The tag said  06/22

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by to see what treasures I have found out thrifting this week.

***
I would love to hear what you have found thrifting and how you style it in your home.

So until my next post......

Vintage-Inspired Winter Decor on the Hutch

Hi Friends,

Today, I'm making a few changes in my Entry Room, starting with the top of my Shelving Unit for the new year.
***
I started by bringing a couple of vintage Budwiezer Mugs, I thought would fit with the winter theme, from down stairs and a pair of vintage ice-skates.

***
I'm glad your here to share the small touches I added to my Winter decor on the Hutch in my entry-room, just a few diy frosted pinecones, a few winter greens add a since of winter.
***
I looked around my house and found deer antlers to incorporate into this vignette,
also added a pair of vintage restaurant-ware coffee mugs for a cozy touch.
***
As you can see I left the rusty crusty lantern and just added pinecones

***

I left the vintage picnic basket, red throw and a few vintage red thermose, again for that cozy winter feel.
***

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by to see what I have been up to.

I would love to hear what you have found thrifting and how you style it in your home.

Winter - A Few New Vignettes on the Mantel - Snowmen and Red Birds

Hi Friends,

 I'm so glad your here!

Today, I'm so excited to share the mantel for Winter
I did leave the red lunch pail and a green tackle box on the mantel from Christmas
I'm loving the Vintage Putz Houses I thrifted last month, so I'm displaying them in my Winter Mantel.

This cute felt Snowman Ornament is a new find last month amongst a trio of vintage medicine bottles
I decided to add a few of my Milkglass Vase to the vintage Bread Pan for a grouping with another cherished Putz House
I just picked up this cute circular wooden box with the snowmen playing outside.
Also, I grabbed a couple of vintage Mason 'Ball' canning jars to this adorable vignette and yet, another vintage  Putz House
Winter decor is the time to bring out Red Birds, in my opinion.
these two red birds were in a Grab-Bag I found last month with some Christmas ornaments.
The amazing Snowmen were cared by my Step-Dad
I found a adorable winter scene card at my local thrift store.
