Friday Vintage Thrifting for Vintage Treasures

Hi Friends,

I'm so glad your here!

Today, I'm so excited to share a few great Treasures I found this week out thrifting.

Because, I do have a vintage record player I decided to pick up a few records to display on top of the player this Summer.

I love the graphic on this sleeve and also the picture of the whole 'Guy Lombardo Band on the album.
(which you can't see so well)

A silver- plate low sided basket or serving platter for
 $3.00.

Super adorable framed picture of a
child praying, just couldn't leave it behind. Can't really see, but the little girl has her dolls lined up praying with her, So Cute.

Last thrifting outing, I past these cutie candles two weeks ago.  This week they were still there, so I picked them up for $.75 each.

Was not able to find any information about these cuties, so not sure if there vintage or not. They could be newer, maybe from Russ Berry Company?

Oh by the way, you may have notice I also picked up a ramekin or jelly jar I normally pick these kinds of canning jars use for snacks- (like nuts, pudding, chip, berries).
***
Cute vase made in Italy for FTD I'm going to gift it to a friend with a new baby start from a Mother Spider Plant.

*****

A bag of three embroidery thread spools-$1.50

I use the spools for décor in my sewing nook and you never know I might do some crocheting and need a spool. HA HA

*****

I just could not pass up a bag of 'Rick-Rack' for $2.50  there were 'NINE' different colors in the bag, to go out and buy at a fabric store I would pay between $2.00 to $3.50 a package.  Good Buy!

This bundle will be going into my crafting stash

  1. Oh, when I saw the crochet cotton and the rick rack together I thought of one of my favorite projects--and apropro for Easter. When working with girls at a Boys and Girls Club and with my Sunday school kids, we wrapped balloons all whichy-ways with colored crochet cotton, sugar starched it, let it dry til the next week (or 1 or 2 days), broke the balloon and carefully removed it, then cut an oval hole out and edged the hole with rick rack. Then we made pom pom chicks and rabbits complete with google eyes and set them in moss or Easter grass in the egg. Added a few silk flowers. Great project to do with grand kids! Too, too cute.
