Today, I'm so excited to share my mantel for Spring!

It is the 'First Day of Spring' as I'm looking out my window, it is snowing!
To get some inspiration I dug out my Spring tub and pulled out the nest that I handcrafted a few Springs ago.

In this cream color German planter, I thrifted last year I filled with the handmade 'Spring Bulbs' I made last Spring

I haven't done much for spring around here except hang a swag with tulips on clearance from Kohl's on my glass front door. I almost NEVER buy flower arrangements but they had 1/2 off their clearance last week. Went back today to spend my Kohl's cash and they were back to just their clearance prices. Still got the expensive clearance sox for my SO who is on blood thinners and ALWAYS has cold feet. We got some last week and I will put these away for Christmas. I have intentions of making some spring stuff. We are supposed to get more snow tonite in Maine; I have enjoyed looking at bare ground and not wearing my boots!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy, How nice to have a Kohl's near-by, they do have good sale now-n-then, I see ads on T.V. We are still waiting on the snow to melt, good news is I saw our first Robin last week and more blues skies that clouds. I'm slowly getting my Spring/Easter décor out, hoping to get it done before Easter :) I will leave it out through the month of April, Have a wonderful week, Think Spring!
