I stopped by my 'Community Budget Thrift Store' this week, looking for Vintage Valentine items. I found some interesting treasures.

This cute little Playschool pull puppy, is so cute I had hope it was a little older but it wasn't, but still cute with the black velvet-touch ears and I think the puppy can bark, I haven't put batteries in it to see it that works and the eyes are solid blue, not move back and forth.

Enjoyed seeing your new treasures! I love old dishes with the big pink cabbage roses on them; don't think I would have passed your salad plate either! I have a large platter with forget-me-nots hanging in my kitchen that I hotglued a Dollar Tree galvanized "Thankful" to. It will peel off easily with no damage to the plate if/when I change my mind. Had a small oval plate with a floral border and this week I glued a DT leatherette "Blessed" in the center and will see if it sells in my booth! The sum total of my Valentine decorating to date has been: a wreathe on the front door and a pink glitter spray of hearts stuck into silk flowers on the kitchen table!
ReplyDeleteHi, Thank you so much for your comment, your plate project sounds great! for your booth, someone will like it too. I just started making little Valentine vignettes in the guest-room. Have a wonderful week.
