DIY Rustic Bells Project

I'm adding rustic bells to my Christmas decor this year.

Using a few Dollar Tree white Christmas bell

and brown acrylic paint, I painted the large jingle bells.

Also in my stash I found a half dozen or so of the little jingle bells, so I painted them too.

Added some twine and homespun

I hung the small jingle bells on the garland , but it didn't show up real well, so I strung homespun on them.  The red check homespun add a little bit of color.

The large bells from Dollar Tree ended up at either end of my mantel

I think they look great!  I just wish I would have picked up a few more....

Hope Dollar Tree brings these bells back next Christmas season.

I saw this great idea from The Retro Farmhouse to incorporate my collection of canning jars to my Christmas decor.

I had various sizes of bottle brush trees, I added a few cotton balls the bottom of jars put the tree in side the jars and added a toy car the kids had.

I think this project turnout very cute.

A Dollar Tree Farmhouse Fall jar sign project

I have been picking up some new items from Dollar Tree for decorating thank goodness,
I saw this idea from one of my favorite you-tuber Jody's Craft Room and wanted to give this project a try.

Using a Dollar Tree jar sign, I added some hot glue lines to the lid area, painted over it with gray paint.

I did a little high lighting with a black sharpie and  a  white chalk paint pin, I saw from Tracy at Country Charm by Tracy another of my favorite you-tubers,  do this and just loved use this technique.

Added some raffia and some ribbon to the lid and a "Fall Leaves and Spices" label.

This project turned out great, I think.

Thanks for stopping by.....until the next project.

Two Farmhouse DIY Autumn Pumpkins using Dollar Tree Items

Two more diy project to add to my FALL decor

Using a Dollar Tree pumpkins sign

Gave this sign two coats of Waverly chalk paint.

gluing the fall plaid fleece fabric scarf from Dollar Tree added a piece of burlap to stem.  Then added fall leaves, twine, and raffia also purchased from The Dollar Tree.

After looking at this project it needed more, so I added also from Dollar Tree a metal welcome piece and painted wooden letters to spell out Fall and added them to the decor pieces.  I think the finished product turned out very well.

I made a second pumpkin sign using a pumpkin sign form and adding the fall fleece fabric plaid scarf to cover the pumpkin shape.

Using a sign piece from another pumpkin sign, I use my glue gun and made lines to imitate corrugated metal and put aluminum foil over top to make it look like a metal piece.

Hand painted Hello Pumpkin and added a little brown paint around the edge to make it look rusted.  I'm still practicing this technique and glued it to the front of the pumpkin shape.

Buffalo-Check Pumpkin - DIY for Fall Farmhouse Décor

Hi Friends,

This week I have been obsessed with making Buffalo-Check pumpkins for my Fall décor.

Diy Project, putting my touch to a Dollar Tree pumpkin sign.

I a saw this technique done by one of my favorite you-tuber Tracy at Country Charm by Tracy she used paper to cover her pumpkin signs.

Using a couple of the Dollar Tree pumpkin sign, I painted them all with white chalk paint two coats

then using masking tape I marked out where to make the black stripes going vertical then horizontal; the come out with this checker board pattern.

I add a few burlap leaves, raffia, jute string and a couple of silk yellow leaves to the stem and wa.. la..

Here is how I displayed the pumpkin sign in my Fall decor.

Thank you for stopping by, until the next project.

DIY Yarn Pumpkin Garland

Old string garland refreshed.

I made these string garland a couple of years ago out out orange yarn, yeah I know pretty lazy looking project but the grand-kids enjoyed the craft.

I added strips of burlap ribbon I purchase from Dollar Tree and tied the strip between the yarn pumpkins.

I feel adding the burlap strips added another dimension to the garland.  I like how this project turned out.

Thank you for stopping by,

Hello Fall

Hi Friends,
Outside the leaves are changing, light frost in the mornings, and a crisp coolness in the air.

My home decor is changing to FALL decor!

This year I'm adding orange pumpkins, bittersweet sprigs and of course the black and white check accents are everywhere.

In a corner of my fireplace mantel I display a diy farmhouse FALL sign, a pumpkin picture from my granddaughter, a ceramic pumpkin from Dollar Tree that I painted and added fall color leaves, and a diy buffalo checked pumpkin piece using a sign from Dollar Tree.

More pumpkins in this little vignette, FALL garland and another diy hand painted buffalo checked pumpkin.

A tray on the coffee table full of FALL leaves little orange  and green pumpkins, dried corn cobs, acorns, sprigs of bitter sweet, and vine bowl fillers.

Another vignette with a hand painted buffalo checked pumpkin made from a Dollar Tree pumpkin form, stacked little orange and green pumpkins. Sprigs of bitter sweet and dried corn cobs tucked into a cigar box.

Thank you for stopping by to check out a few of my FALL vignettes, I'm sure there will be a few more diys to share.

Rustic-Farmhouse Upcycle Ceramic Pumpkin DIY

 Hi Friends,

Today I' upcycling little pumpkins I picked up from Dollar Tree....

I really like the shape of these pumpkins but, they aren't quite the right color for me I like the traditional orange.

Love the metal vine and leaf on each pumpkin.

I had in my paint stash - pure orange by Folk Art Enamel, that I added to Waverly white chalk paint.

Then using Waverly antique wax to age up the pumpkin to my liking. Very easy paint it on and wipe it off and the color lays in the cracks

On some of the little pumpkins I added a leaf or two, a curly rope vine.

This was and easy and quick project to upcycle these little pumpkins for a rustic, country farm house décor.  Which I absolutely love.

Thank you for sticking around!  So until next time.....
May God Bless You and Your Family!
