Vintage-Inspired Valentine Vignette on My Vintage RCA Record Player

Hi Friends,

 I'm so glad your here!

Today, I'm arranging the top of my vintage RCA record player.
***
This vignette I used a rustic nut bowl as a riser with a oval wooden picture frame as a platter to group a the amazing California Pottery vase, I added rose pedal to a vintage Mason Jar, and a Milkglass refridgerator dish with a few small pinecones.

The cute '1941' Doggie Valentine is one of three vintage Valentine I purchased on a on-line auction.

***
In the center I used a vintage Silver-Plate platter and group another vintage Mason Jar and a purchase, a Silver-Plate covered sugar bowl. For a bit of interest, I also added a cute vintage cookie cutter and a few glass door knobs.
***
In the third grouping I also incorporated a vintage Mason Jar filled with Eucalyptus stems, and diy
Last Feburary, I won a small lot of vintage Valentine Card, (on a online auction) that I have added to these groupings.
This adorable Valentines Card dates back to '1929'

'1936' is the date on this super nice Valentine Card.

Last January, I made a few adorable Paper Mache Snowmen for my Winter vignettes.

I hope I gave you inspiration in styling your thrifted treasures.

Vintage-Inspired Valentine Vignettes - February Decor Planning

Hi Friends,

 I'm so glad your here!
Today, I've pulled out the February Valentine tub!
I thought it would be fun to share some of my Vintage-inspired crafts that I have made in the past couple of years.
***
Vintage-Inspired Valentines-
This craft project has to be my favorite project so far, using construction paper, vintage-inspired prints from The Graphic Fairy to make these amazing Valentine cards.
Vintage-Inspired Valentines-
These handmade heart Valentine Cards are made using construction paper, paper roses for embellishments, and crepe paper for the trims
***
Hand sewn rustic cottage fabric hearts-
I've been making felt heart filler for a long time, but this project was using fabric and buttons for embellishments

***

Velveteen ribbon heart picks-
I'm using some faux velvet ribbon I thrifted at a yard sale last Summer, to make these very easy Heart Picks.

***

It's been a few years back I saw this aged playing card garland craft project using 'heart suit' f the card deck.
***
Of course, I can not style a vignette with a touch of thrifted Pip-Berries. I found a pip berry garland, last some that was in rough shape, but with a little red paint to spruced it up! it looks great!
***
Do you like to craft special items to add seasonal touches?
I would love to hear your ideas.
***
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by to see what is going on at My Little Colorado Cottage this week.
***
I would love to hear what wonderful items you used for the month of February to decorate you home.

Vintage Winter vignettes- Top of China Hutch

I'm so glad your here!

Hi Friends,

Today, I'm so excited to share how the area on top of the china hutch looks for the Winter season.

As you can see I did leave the red thermose,I looked around my home for something to add which are the stack of stonware plates and a white enamel bowl filled with diy frosted pinecones.
I also added a nice treasure I found this month, a small round silver-plate caddy. $1.50
I added three small milk-glass jars I had to lighten up this vignette

In the corner as you can see I just added some winter greenry and a little red bird.
***
in this area I added a collection of pinecones and a cute little 'Snowbaby' figurine I thought the Polar Bear looked good in my Coca-Cola area.
***
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to stop by to see how I've changed up the decor on the 'China Hutch'
I would love to hear what you have found thrifting and how you style it in your home.
